Ventilation is another critical component when insulating your attic. Attic ventilation serves a number of purpose: it can reduce summer heat buildup; it is your second line of defense against water vapour that may have found its way into your attic; it also ensures a colder, well-vented attic space that will b eless prone to the formation of ice dams at the eaves. As you can see, when an attic is not properly vented after adding insulation it can actually create new problems. We will also install our government approved attic build-up hatch. This that your attic hatch is air tight and does not allow for any insulation overflow.

SOFIT BAFFLES
At Eco Insulation we add soffit baffles when they are required. Generally they are installed every 3rd to 4th truss. This ensures proper air flow moves the stale air out of your attic area. This is always included in our price.
In certain cases when the soffit is not perforated, other types of vents like gable venting is an option.
